Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SlowFlow website and online store (the “Site”), and any purchases made through it. By visiting our Site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.
1) About us
In these Terms, “SlowFlow”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to SlowFlow.

2) Eligibility & acceptable use
You agree that:
- you will use the Site for lawful purposes only, and
- you will not misuse, interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems, or other users’ accounts.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Site if we reasonably suspect misuse or unlawful activity.
3) Accounts
You may be able to create an account. You are responsible for:
- keeping your login credentials confidential, and
- all activity under your account.
Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4) Product information
We try to ensure product descriptions, images, tasting notes and other content are accurate. However:
- coffee is a natural agricultural product and flavour can vary by crop/season and brewing variables,
- packaging and product presentation may change from time to time, and
- colours and images may appear differently on different screens.
5) Pricing & currency
All prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice.
If a pricing or listing error occurs, we may:
- correct the error, and/or
- cancel the order and provide a refund.
6) Orders & order acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept or reject an order at our discretion (for example, due to stock availability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors).
If we cannot fulfil your order (or part of it), we will contact you and arrange a refund, replacement, or suitable alternative.
7) Payment
Payments are processed via our third-party payment providers (e.g., Shopify Payments and/or other gateways). By purchasing, you authorise us (and our payment providers) to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including any shipping and taxes (if applicable).
We do not store full payment card details.
8) Shipping & delivery
Shipping options, costs and estimated timeframes are shown at checkout and/or on our Shipping page (if available). Timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, peak periods, or events outside our control.
If your parcel arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the packaging and product(s).
9) Returns, refunds & exchanges
Our Returns & Exchanges Policy forms part of these Terms.
Because coffee is a perishable consumable, we generally do not accept change-of-mind returns for coffee. We will always honour your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

10) Promotions, discount codes & free shipping offers
From time to time we may offer promotions, discount codes, bundles, or free-shipping thresholds. Unless stated otherwise:
- offers can be changed or withdrawn at any time,
- discount codes cannot be retroactively applied to past orders,
- only one discount code may be used per order (unless the Site allows otherwise),
- eligibility is assessed at checkout based on the rules shown at the time.
If your order qualified for free shipping and you later return items so the order no longer meets the threshold, we may deduct the original shipping cost from any refund (unless the return is due to our error or a fault).
11) Gift cards
Gift cards:
- are not redeemable for cash, and
- are non-refundable except where required by law.
12) Subscriptions
If we offer subscriptions:
- you can manage or cancel your subscription via your account (where available) before the next billing/dispatch date,
- once a subscription order has been processed/dispatched, we may be unable to cancel or refund it for change of mind (particularly for coffee, as a perishable item).
If there is an issue with a subscription order (wrong item, damaged, or faulty), contact us and we’ll help.
13) Intellectual property
All content on the Site (including text, images, branding, logos, product descriptions, and design elements) is owned by or licensed to SlowFlow and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any Site content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.
14) Third-party links
The Site may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Use third-party sites at your own risk.
15) Disclaimer (consumer rights preserved)
To the extent permitted by law:
- the Site and content are provided “as is” and “as available”, and
- we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
16) Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SlowFlow will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunity) arising from your use of the Site or any product purchased through it.
Where liability cannot be excluded under law, our liability is limited (at our option) to:
- replacing the goods,
- supplying equivalent goods, or
- refunding the amount paid.
17) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlowFlow from any claim, loss, liability, expense, or demand arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
18) Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy (including how we collect, use and store personal information, and how cookies/analytics may be used).
19) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the Site after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
20) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
