"Chapoleras" - 100% Produced by Women
The “Chapolera” microlot is produced entirely by women farmers — Maria Elena Pulgarín, Noralba Benítez, and Lina Restrepo, in Apía, Risaralda. Each brings decades of dedication and recognition in Colombian coffee, united by meticulous practices: selective cherry picking, extended fermentations, and solar drying that enhance complexity and sweetness.
Fermented in traditional tanks for 48–72 hours and dried under the sun, this natural process captures both vibrancy and structure, creating a cup full of fruit character and lingering sweetness.
